ALERT: THIS Is What Obama Was Trying to Hide About Benghazi

Friday, January 2nd, 2015

More than two years after the terrorist attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound and CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya, President Barack Obama’s administration is still hiding documents and refusing to disclose the full truth of what happened.
Thankfully, Congress is delving into the matter with the Benghazi Select Committee investigation, led by Trey Gowdy, which is seeking to uncover everything that occurred before, during and after the attack to prevent a similar recurrence in the future.

Unfortunately, the full truth is still hidden, and much of what we do know comes from anonymous sources and leaked documents, along with testimony before congressional panels.
The Blaze released a two part investigation of its own last year, revealing that there was a great deal of weapons smuggling going on in Libya before the Benghazi attack, in which the United States was complicit, and that at least half of the weapons being smuggled into the country ended up in the hands of al-Qaida-affiliated terrorist rebel groups.
When the Arab Spring sparked protests and riots in Libya, which ultimately culminated in NATO military strikes to remove the Qaddafi regime, the United States allowed allied countries like the UAE and Qatar to send over a billion dollars worth of light and heavy weapons into Libya to arm the anti-Qaddafi rebels.
Story continues below.
This has been confirmed by not only anonymous sources on the ground, U.S. intelligence and military sources, and congressional testimony, but also United Nations reports.
The main al-Qaida-affiliated group that received arms was Ansar Al-Sharia, who also happened to be connected with the February 17th Martyrs Brigade, a local militia group hired to provide security for the Benghazi compound.
While there is still some dispute about the exact reason why the terrorist attack was launched on the compound, it has been suggested it was in response to drone strikes against terrorist group leaders or to the collection of weapons that would be sent on to the Syrian rebels to further their fight against the Assad regime — weapons that inevitably ended up in the hands of the Islamic State.
Regardless of why they attacked, they attacked nonetheless, using weapons that were supplied to them with the tacit approval of the Obama administration.
Perhaps this massive gun-running scheme, which armed known enemies of the United States, is why the Obama administration has tried so hard to cover up the truth of Benghazi.
