URGENT: The United Nations Calls for the ARREST of Several Republican Leaders Under Bush

Wednesday, December 10th, 2014
The United Nations has always been averse to the causes that are important to America.
However, what they’re doing now simply goes too far.

As you may have heard, the Senate just yesterday released its report about alleged torture under the Bush regime, which was NOT AT ALL TIMED BY SENATE DEMOCRATS (wink, wink).
According to Reuters, a very noisy British United Nations functionary named Ben Emmerson decided it was high time the world heard what someone who wasn’t thinking was thinking.
Emmerson, a British investigator somehow classified as a U.N. human rights expert, took advantage of the report to call for war crimes proceeding against Bush administration officials, because we’ve never heard that one before.

“The fact that the policies revealed in this report were authorized at a high level within the U.S. government provides no excuse whatsoever. Indeed, it reinforces the need for criminal accountability,” Emmerson said.
“As a matter of international law, the U.S. is legally obliged to bring those responsible to justice,” Emmerson said in a statement issued in Geneva.
Emmerson was and continues to remain mute on just what ought to befall the actual perpetrators of the attack.
“The U.S. Attorney General is under a legal duty to bring criminal charges against those responsible,” he said.
“It is now time to take action. The individuals responsible for the criminal conspiracy revealed in today’s report must be brought to justice, and must face criminal penalties commensurate with the gravity of their crimes.”
This has been the line parroted by any number of power-hungry internationalists.
The fact is that the United Nations has wanted to cripple America’s response to the terrorist acts of 9/11 for over a decade.
This is just their latest lame attempt at threatening people who did the job of keeping America safe, when the United Nations let Afghanistan and Iraq descend into a state where they became a danger to the world.
If people like Ben Emmerson at the United Nations had done a good enough job of keeping us safe, we wouldn’t need to be bothered with this.
